1997 Homegrown Factory Suspension XT

1997 Homegrown Factory Suspension XT

The Homegrown Factory Suspension XT was the mid-range model in Schwinn's Sweet Spot suspension lineup. Color choices were "Killer Tomato Red" with a buffed rear triangle or a completely buffed variant.

The Homegrown Factory Suspension XT shared its Control Tech-made 6061 frame with the other two Factory Suspension models in the range. The Factory Suspension XT featured, oddly enough, a full Shimano XT group with some downgrades in other components relative to those on the Factory Suspension XTR. Like the Factory Suspension XTR, the Factory Suspension XT featured a suspension fork with 80 mm of travel, though it was the lower-level Judy XC in place of the Judy SL. The complete specs are at the left.
